I firmly believe and have through personal experience found that although nutrition is vitally important, it is just as important to address the spiritual aspects of existence, as well as to address the mind by means of education. There is a great deal of misinformation in the world and it is necessary for one's best survival to get the correct and true data and not be misinformed or confused by the incredible amount of false data we are bombarded with daily from the news, advertisements, people and other sources. I am providing here as a public service links to sources of accurate and true information and programs that can provide information and help to you, your family and your community.
In addition, I am including a list of recommended books to read for further education and enlightenment. I will periodically add materials to this list as a public service to my customers.
Safe Harbor: Alternatives for Mental Health
Safe Harbor is a nonprofit group educating the public, practitioners and government agencies on nondrug alternatives for mental health. Did you know that drugs for mental issues have never been truly scientifically proven to be any better than placebo? And they are dangerous in many cases (witness the marked increase in murder/suicides in recent years; almost all those committing these crimes were using or stopping one or more psychotropic drugs). There is a new organization for the elderly in development, which will provide homes for the elderly and ensure they live in a safe environment, with healthy meals, alternative treatments, no drugs, and are treated with respect. BooksHere is a little story: A good friend of mine died of cancer (lymphoma). She used only conventional treatment. I told her of alternatives and she told me her "insurance won't pay for it." So she did not get any alternative therapies. She died. The moral of the story is, if your insurance won't pay for it, find the money somewhere else. Don't just give up! That is not the way to survive! So far I have had three close friends die of cancer; they were all in their 50's, much too young to die. None of them used alternative therapies.
